UNIVERSAL STUDIOS ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE®
With Academy Award-winning producer/director Steven Spielberg as creative
consultant, Universal Studios Islands of Adventure® is Orlando’s next
generation theme park and is the permanent home to some of the most
thrilling rides and attractions ever made, as well as the world’s most
beloved characters, including The Cat in the Hat, Spider-Man, Popeye, The
Incredible Hulk and the dinosaurs of Jurassic Park. Set among the exotic
coastlines of the oceans of the world, this adventure of a lifetime begins
at the Port of Entry and continues through five uniquely themed islands
including:
- Seuss Landing – a cacophony of colors, music and mood
set the scene on this island which is the only place in the world
where the whimsical characters of Theodor “Dr. Seuss” Geisel’s
famous book spring into being
- Toon Lagoon – brings to life more than 150 of the world’s
best-loved, two-dimensional cartoon characters in an environment
that melts the boundaries between imagination and reality
- Marvel Super Hero Island – incorporates unprecedented
technology with the most popular comic book heroes and villains of
all time, showcasing revolutionary rides and attractions that
combine moving vehicles, 3-D film, live-action and special effects
- Jurassic Park – inspired by the most successful motion
picture of all time, this island contains the most life-like
animatronic creatures ever made. Guests will come face-to-face
with “living, breathing” dinosaurs
- The Lost Continent – those who dare to proceed must do so
cautiously or quickly find themselves lost in the foreboding, medieval
forest inhabited by fiery dragons and mythical gods in The Lost
Continent, a land once believed to exist only in the mists of time, a
land where myths and legends come to life
CITYWALK™
CityWalk™ brings together a powerful group of partners — all leaders in
their own industries — to create a one-of-a-kind collection of themed
restaurants, nightclubs, movie houses and specialty shops. Aimed at area
residents and tourists alike, CityWalk™ is destined to become the
entertainment core of Orlando.
