Restaurants - B-Line Diner®

The B-Line Diner®

The B-Line Diner® a lively, airy, pleasant, 24-hour restaurant, diner, soda fountain, bake/cake shop located on the Lobby Level of the hotel.

It has the nostalgia of the Fifties, but the buzz and coolness of the 21st century. While the look is gleaming chrome and black-and-white marble of another era, the food is modern America's best.

Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in this wonderful setting.

Menus are updated with the changing seasons and the food is cooked to order from the freshest of local produce and ingredients.

Breakfast at the B-Line Diner is a real eye-opener, starting with pure Florida orange juice, and croissants and breads still hot from the hotel's own ovens. A variety of coffees are served, from steaming hot Cappuccinos and Lattes, to the good, old-fashioned American brew.

Some B-Line Breakfast Favorites
Heavenly Griddle Cakes, a great way to start the day. Mom would approve. Chef Scott created this recipe for The Peabody Orlando in 1986. Cake flour, sugar, eggs and sour cream make this item truly heavenly. Eight silver dollar sized cakes, lightly griddled, served lightly powdered with sugar and a choice of fresh-cut strawberries or B-Line breakfast meat.

Another original B-Line recipe-Line Hash and Eggs is said to be the "best corned beef hash in America." Finely minced Boars Head® corned beef with shredded potatoes, quartered red bliss potatoes, peppers and onions. Griddled until golden brown and served up in its own skillet with choice of two eggs. It's topped off with the Peabody's own B-Line salsa and fresh garden chives.

Lunch at The B-Line Diner may include
Chicken Marsala and Egg Noodles. Seared boneless, skinless chicken breast, lightly brushed with olive oil. Fresh minced herbs and button mushrooms are added and sautéed until tender. Marsala wine is added to deglaze the sauté pan. Heavy cream, salt and black pepper finish the dish which is served in a twelve-inch pasta bowl and garnished with Parmesan cheese, fresh tomato and green spring onions.

Now, for something completely different: Ostrich Burger. Seven-and-a-half ounce patty of farm-raised ostrich, seasoned with salt, pepper and sun dried cherries, charbroiled until tender. The Peabody Ostrich Burger is served on the Peabody's own, fresh baked cranberry and sage focaccia roll. It is served with a side of fresh-diced fruit, cranberry relish, lettuce, tomato and onion. No pickle needed for this burger!

Dinner at the B-Line Diner
Whether you like an early dinner, or prefer to go home when the sun comes up, dinner at The B-Line Diner is a treat.

Crispy Fried Red Snapper is a big favorite with the late-night set. Cornstarch dusted skin-on snapper filet, crisply fried and served on lightly sautéed Napa cabbage, julienne red bell peppers, red onion and fresh tomato. Served with basmati rice and a spicy black bean sauce. Delicious!

A real American beauty, The B-Line's Smoked Half Chicken. The chicken is hickory smoked and then roasted. Red bliss potatoes are roasted and then sautéed with white beans, salt and pepper. Served with a Southern favorite - collard greens. Scrumptious!

Shakes & Cakes at the B-Line Diner
The term "desserts to die for" is appropriate. When guests enter the B-Line Diner, they must first run the gamut of the Patisserie and Cake Shop, before reaching their table, weak-kneed. All manner of delights are on sparkling, enticing display, from strawberry and blueberry cheesecake, to deep-dish, puff pastry-topped apple pie. From French tortes, tarts and éclairs to banana cream pies and Key Lime pie…all made on the premises in the Peabody's own pastry shop.
