Designed for efficiency and versatility, the majority of our Meeting Space
is located on the Convention and Mezzanine Levels.
Whether hosting a 3,900 person banquet or serving a private Fortune 500 board
meeting, exceptional service and the ultimate in meeting room flexibility is
the standard for guests of the award winning Peabody Orlando.
The property's 32 meeting rooms on two separate levels service a wide variety
of group sizes, and allow each group to feel as if they were the only meeting
in house.
The grand 27,000 square foot Plaza International Ballroom can divide into eight
separate meeting rooms. The ballroom may seat over 2,420 banquet style and 3,000
theater style. When divided into eight, the rooms can hold between 150 500 banquet
style, and 225 800 theater style, each.
The main ballroom is conveniently flanked on both sides with two 8,600 square
foot junior ballrooms that can divide into three separate meeting rooms, each.
When open, each junior ballroom supports 7 70 for banquets, and 1, 100 theater
style.
The 18 foot ceilings of the Plaza International Ballroom, and the 14 foot ceilings
in both the Florida and Orlando ballrooms are compatible with servicing the
latest in audio/visual media promotions.
In addition to the convention level ballrooms, the lush, four story atrium
is often a favorite group reception and breakout area.
Accessing the convention level is easy even with the heaviest equipment, as
the ballrooms were designed with extra large doorways that can accommodate large
props such as automobiles, and the use of hydraulic lifts for spectacular displays.
On the mezzanine level, an additional 16 meeting rooms are designed to cater
to small meetings of 60 people or less, supplying between 437 2,223 square feet
each. The rooms can hold 30 40 people each for banquets, and 50 60 people for
theater style functions.
The soundproof Peabody Boardroom features a polished wood King Arthur style
round table that seats up to 16 people in elegant style.
All meeting areas are free from columns for uninterrupted use of space, and
are easily accessible via escalators, elevators, and staircases.
Other meeting options for small groups include the use of audio/visual compatible
presidential and hospitality suites, which can host from four to 15 people for
business meetings.
Support options include in house audio/ visual specialists, and a full service
business center. The Peabody Orlando is located directly across the street from
the 425,000 square foot Orange County Convention Center, and is headquarters
for city wide conventions.
